We are looking to recruit a 40-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 557-branch located at 7 Cemetery Road, Barnsley, S70 1XS.
Shift Pattern
- Monday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Wednesday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities
- Assist with the accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items under the guidance and supervision of the Pharmacist.
- Manage ordering and stock levels within the dispensary and shop, ensuring timely stock availability.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of interaction with customers and contributing to a well-established team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous customer service experience is preferred, along with a willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress.
- Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, and strong people skills are essential.
