We are looking to recruit a 24-hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our branch located at Pendeen Surgery, Kent Avenue, Ross-On-Wye, HR9 5AH.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday 08:30-14:30 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
  • Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 08:30-14:30 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 09:00-14:30 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers.
  • Providing support with the dispensing and labelling of prescription items.
  • Receiving prescriptions and handing out prescription items.
  • Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential.
  • Skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure are all required.
  • The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role.
