We are looking to recruit a 24‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 453 branch located at 38 Highbury Road East, St Annes‑on‑sea, Lytham St Annes, FY8 2RW.
Shift Pattern
- Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label prescription items under guidance and supervision from the pharmacist.
- Assist with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and shop.
- Maintain attention to detail, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
- Provide high‑standard customer service as part of a well‑established team.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress (e.g., recognized Counter Course, NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing).
