Delivery Driver - Knutsford, Job Ref: 11782. Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a 12 months fixed-term contract to provide cover at branch 532 located at 38 Princess Street, Knutsford, WA16 6BN.

Opening hours for our branches are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00 and Saturday 09:00 to 13:00. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, who has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes while providing a high standard of customer service and portraying a friendly, professional image as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
  • Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated timeframes and ensure delivery in line with the company’s regulated procedures.
  • Plan and print daily delivery routes in branch before departures (basic computer skills required).
  • Assist with PR exercises to increase business (if required).
Requirements:
  • Own vehicle for this role; personal insurance policy must allow for business use. Contact your insurer to confirm prior to interview. Business insurance refers to the vehicle, not the contents. The Company will contribute to the business aspect of the insurance upon receipt of documentation showing any increased premium.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work as part of a well-established team.
  • Very basic computer skills to plan routes.
  • All roles are subject to a DBS being undertaken as part of the recruitment process.
  • Flexible to work within branch opening times; 12 months fixed-term contract.
