We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed‑term contract to work at our 451‑branch located at 77 High Street East, Glossop, SK13 8PN.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Wednesday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)

Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing. We are seeking a candidate with previous customer service experience who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.

Duties include:

  • Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist
  • Assisting with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and the shop
  • Maintaining attention to detail
  • Working under pressure and strict deadlines
  • A desire to learn and progress your career within our business

Great people skills are essential as this role requires working as part of a well‑established team and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.
