We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed‑term 12‑month contract to work at our 451‑branch located at 77 High Street East, Glossop, SK13 8PN.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to customers, with specific responsibility for providing support with the dispensing and labelling of prescription items.
  • Receive prescriptions and hand out prescription items, and assist with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential.
  • Skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure are required.
  • Great people skills are paramount.
