We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a permanent contract at our 522 branch at 6 St Asaph Avenue North, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl, LL18 5EE. To cover 4 branches within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes promptly and conscientiously.
- Provide a high standard of customer service and portray a friendly professional image as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
- Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within designated periods.
- Ensure delivery of prescription items in line with the company’s regulated procedures.
- Use basic computer skills to plan and print daily routes before departures.
- Assist with PR exercises to increase business, where required.
Requirements
- Great people skills and ability to work with a well-established team.
- Own vehicle suitable for the role; vehicle must be insured for business use.
- Proficiency with basic computer tasks such as route planning and printing.
- Adherence to fuel receipt collection and weekly mileage claim submission per HMRC guidelines (42p per mile up to 10,000 miles, then 25p thereafter).
- Know that a DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
