We are looking to recruit a 15‑hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a permanent contract to work at our 721‑branch located at 16‑18 Market Street, Hoyland, Barnsley, S74 9QR.
Required working hours:
- Monday 10:00‑13:00
- Tuesday 10:00‑13:00
- Thursday 10:00‑13:00
- Friday 10:00‑13:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing homes, and residential homes.
- Provide a high standard of customer service, portray a friendly professional image, and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
- Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated time frame.
- Plan, print, and follow daily routes using basic computer skills before departure.
- Assist with PR exercises to increase business as required.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills to print and plan daily routes.
- Own vehicle suitable for business use with a personal insurance policy that allows business use; company will contribute to the business insurance upon receipt of proof of increased premium.
- Good people skills and ability to work within a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within given time periods.
- Valid driving licence and safe driving record.
