We are looking to recruit a 25.5-hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 483-branch located at Darwen Health Centre, James Street West, Darwen, BB3 1PY.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday 09:00-18:30 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Wednesday 09:00-18:30 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 09:00-18:30 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to customers, specifically supporting the dispensing and labeling of prescription items.
  • Receive prescriptions, hand out prescription items and assist with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential.
  • Skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure.
  • Excellent people skills – essential for delivering a high standard of service as part of a well-established team.
