We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 499‑branch located at 2 Albion Street, Ashton‑Under‑Lyne, OL6 6HF.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense and label prescription items under the guidance and supervision of the Pharmacist.
  • Assist with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
  • Provide high‑standard customer service and maintain attention to detail at all times.
  • Work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to work as part of a well‑established team.
