11931– 40 hour Trainee Counter Assistant – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract We are looking to recruit a 40 hour Trainee Counter Assistant on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract to work at our 574 branch located at Wolds House, Medforth Street, Market Weighton, York, YO43 3FF. The proposed shift pattern is as follows: Monday 09:00 – 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Tuesday 09:00 – 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Wednesday 09:00 – 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Thursday 09:00 – 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Friday 09:00 – 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break) As a Trainee Pharmacy Counter Assistant you will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist and you will assist customers with the sale of over the counter medicines, offering advice on the provision of information, symptoms and products as well promoting the additional services that our branch offers. You will also be tasked with replenishing stock and supporting the pharmacy team. The role would ideally suit someone with previous customer service experience.
