The predicted salary is between 18900 - 23100 Β£ per year.
We are looking to recruit a 40 hour Qualified Counter Assistant on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract to work at our 574 branch located at Wolds House, Medforth Street, Market Weighton, York, YO43 3FF.
The proposed shift pattern is:
- Monday 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
- Tuesday 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
- Wednesday 09:00 β 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
As a Qualified Pharmacy Counter Assistant you will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist and assist customers with the sale of over the counter medicines, offering advice on the provision of information, symptoms and products as well as promoting the additional services that our branch offers. You will also be tasked with replenishing stock and supporting the pharmacy team.
The role would ideally suit someone with previous customer service experience. The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role. You will be required to work as part of a well-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
You will already be qualified as a Medicine Counter Assistant; your duties will include:
- Supporting colleagues in running a successful pharmacy service
- Advising customers on how to manage common conditions encountered in the pharmacy
- Recommending over the counter products appropriately to customers
- Supporting colleagues with receiving and handing out prescriptions.
