We are currently recruiting this unique opportunity to work as a Personal Driver & Assistant, supporting the Directors of a family-owned business based in Lostock, Bolton. Cohens Chemist is part of the Cohens Group and is regarded as a well-loved brand name within the community pharmacy industry. The family-owned organisation was established in 1980 and is now one of Britain's leading pharmacy chains, who pride themselves on supporting the local communities.
We are seeking a Personal Driver to work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have the relevant skillset and experience to support with the following types of activities:
- Driving & Transport
- Provide safe, discreet and punctual driving for the Director to and from office locations, meetings, appointments, and events.
- Plan routes efficiently, allowing for traffic and time constraints.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Errands & General Support
- Run personal and business-related errands as required (e.g. collecting/delivering items, shopping, post).
- Assist with ad hoc requests to support the Directors' schedule.
- Be flexible to changing priorities on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements of Key Skills:
- Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar driver role or personal support role.
- Confident driver with a clean UK driving licence.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Trustworthy, discreet and reliable.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
In this role, you will need to work with absolute confidentiality and discretion as you may be trusted with sensitive information. Flexibility will also be an important part of the role as the hours may vary dependent on the Directors' diary arrangements. In order to perform your duties, it is essential that you hold a driving license. A fleet vehicle will be made available.
