- Location: Dene House, Kirkburton. Occasional site visits UK and overseas
- Hours: Office based Mon-Fri with occasional out of hours to support equipment breakdowns.
- Requirements: Driving license and passport. Ability to travel at short notice on rare occasions.
The Company
CoGri Group are global experts in upgrading concrete floor flatness in VNA / narrow aisle warehouses and distribution centres. Each year we grind thousands of linear metres of aisle around the world to enable VNA forklift trucks to operate safely and efficiently.
The Role
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced service engineer to work on a range of specialist equipment designed, built and maintained in house. The right candidate will be dealing with builds, research and development, repairs, breakdowns, fault finding and site support.
On rare occasions, it will be necessary to attend site to perform fault diagnosis and repair which can be in the UK or overseas.
Additional tasks will include helping organise drawings, documentation, spares kits and stock as well as supporting other companies within the CoGri Group.
Position Information
Essential skills and experience in one or more of the following:
- Good problem-solving skills for effective troubleshooting and repairs
- Relevant electrical experience (automotive or site/appliance)
- Ability to perform electrical modifications and upgrades to existing equipment
- Familiarity with motors, relays, switches, connectors, crimping and soldering
- Able to understand and work from electrical wiring diagrams
Any experience in the following areas would be an advantage (but not essential):
- Basic mechanical skills
- Experience of 12V & 24V systems
- Awareness of PLCs and HMIs
- PAT Testing
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
