The role will be part of our Quality Engineering & Assurance (QE&A) Practice. With over 650 clients across various industry verticals and a global presence, Cognizant QE&A is a recognized leader in quality engineering and assurance. Quality encompasses both legacy and digital systems, requiring an end-to-end approach. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead testing efforts for product releases to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  2. Oversee development and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
  3. Provide expertise in Appium framework based on Selenium for mobile application testing.
  4. Implement and maintain test management tools to track and report testing progress.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  6. Utilize Agile methodologies to manage and prioritize testing tasks.
  7. Conduct thorough testing of Funds Management, Fund Administration, Client Onboarding, Fee Billing, Accounting, and Reporting functionalities.
  8. Manage test environments and ensure proper configuration for testing activities.
  9. Provide detailed test reports and documentation to stakeholders.
  10. Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities.
  11. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
  12. Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices and testing techniques.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  1. Strong experience in investment banking and securities.
  2. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and test management tools.
  3. Proficiency in test management.
  4. Knowledge of Multifonds, GTAP, Calypso, TLM, TradeFlow, and ICON applications.
  5. Domain experience in Asset & Wealth Management.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  7. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  9. Commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  10. Adaptability to changing project requirements.
  11. Proactive in identifying and addressing issues.
  12. Desire to learn and grow in product testing.
  13. Experience with core banking, retail banking, investment banking, wealth management, securities trading, and settlement processes.
  14. Experience with interface testing.
  15. Familiarity with products like Multifonds VIz, Temenos T24 Wealth Management, CRM, and Order Management.
  16. Understanding of SWIFT messages related to securities (MT5XX).
  17. Good knowledge of Oracle SQL.
  18. Basic Unix commands (preferred).
  19. Knowledge of software testing lifecycle and defect lifecycle.
  20. Experience with functional and integration testing (manual & automation).
  21. Experience working on T24 applications, securities, corporate actions, and events.
  22. Ability to create test plans, approaches, and strategies.
  23. Proficiency in documenting testing results and progress.
  24. Experience with testing tools like Jira, HP QC, etc.
  25. Ability to identify and report defects with severity and priority.
  26. Validate bug fixes and perform system integration and regression testing.
