RCGH Consulting (Retail, Consumer Goods & Hospitality) Cognizant’s RCGH Consulting unit is seeking talented consultants with extensive domain experience coupled with consultative experience of executing large scale business change and IT solutions in the RCGH industries. The role provides an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, high energy and entrepreneurial team working with leading UK brand names.
Role Background: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Lead consultant / Product Owner to work closely with our client to identify the priorities that are driving business values and guide through successful SCM initiatives and implementations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Provide Business Analysis to drive and support the execution of Supply Chain initiatives.
- Improving processes across the business by identifying and implementing logistical practices.
- Engage with business stakeholders and conduct workshops for requirement elicitation.
- Map business processes and user journeys, developing business domain models and associated documentation - Business process modelling, Process flow modelling, Data flow modelling, Stakeholder analysis.
- Ideating and conceptualizing business pain points and translating them into requirements.
- Creating the business requirements document including non-functional requirements.
- Creation of Process Maps (L1, L2, L3, L4) and undertaking gap analysis.
- Documentation of BRDs, FSDs, NFRs and RTMs.
- Support internal and external delivery teams with project planning, functional and non-functional requirements, testing, reporting, implementation, and post-implementation activities.
- Develop and facilitate user acceptance test (UAT) cases as required.
- Support end users in adopting functional changes (e.g. training, documentation, implementation support).
- Draw conclusions from the market/industry trends, client issues, and support go-to-market initiatives for Cognizant.
- Contribute to research, design, and writing of articles/whitepapers and participate as a team member in collateral development.
- Support business development activities in the form of gathering best practices for RFI/RFP responses and writing proposals, developing service offerings, training, and knowledge management.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Domain expertise in Retail or Consumer Goods Industry.
- Experience working as part of consulting engagements.
- Experience in Supply Chain with deep domain knowledge across one or more of the following areas - Omnichannel fulfilment, order management, supply chain planning.
- Proven experience of leading projects across supply chain/omnichannel transformations and digital supply chain initiatives.
- Experience working on engagements using supply chain products like JDA, IBM Sterling, SAP, Infor, Manhattan etc. would be an added advantage.
- Experience in data crunching and modelling to add fact-based decision making to drive business decisions would be an added value.
- Proven track record of problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ways of working.
- Ability to effectively work with and manage medium-sized teams in digital projects, or pods in large digital transformation projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the application of Use Cases, Process Maps and User Journeys.
- Building relationships between external partners and internal stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
- Ability to pivot and change directions on a programme if required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven Stakeholder management credentials.
- Excellent Presentation and communication skills.
