We are seeking a proven Business Analyst with strong SQL skills and experience in pensions and the Sonata platform. The role involves translating business requirements into clear data mappings and data models, while supporting and mentoring less experienced client Business Analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse and document business and data requirements for pensions-related work on the Sonata platform.
- Prepare and maintain data mapping specifications, documenting source-to-target relationships, transformation rules and validation requirements.
- Develop and maintain data models that accurately reflect business requirements and pension data structures.
- Use SQL to query, analyse and validate data, investigate discrepancies and support the accuracy of data mappings.
- Work with client Business Analysts and technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve data-related queries.
- Support and mentor less experienced client Business Analysts, providing guidance on requirements analysis, data mapping and data modelling.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the pensions domain.
- Hands-on experience with the Sonata platform.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, querying and validation.
- Demonstrable experience preparing data mappings and data models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality and detail.
- Clear communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to support and mentor less experienced Business Analysts in a client environment.
