Quality Testing Engineer

The role will be part of our Quality Engineering & Assurance (QE&A) Practice. With more than 650 clients across industry verticals and a global footprint, Cognizant QE&A practice is a recognized thought leader in quality engineer and Assurance .As enterprises simplify, modernize and secure their legacy environments for the digital era, robust quality Engineering and assurance is essential. Quality takes an end-to-end connotation and must straddle both legacy and digital systems. In so doing, increasing quality and speed to promote faster business and technology change, as well as a better customer experience. Lead the testing efforts for product releases ensuring high-quality deliverables. Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium and Java. Provide expertise in Appium framework based on Selenium for mobile application testing. Implement and maintain test management tools to track and report on testing progress. Utilize Agile methodologies to manage and prioritize testing tasks. Conduct thorough testing of Funds Management , fund administration , client onboarding , fee billing Manage test environments and ensure they are configured correctly for testing activities. Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies. Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices and testing techniques. Possess strong experience of in investment banking, securities. Have a solid understanding of Agile Methodologies and Test Management Tools. Have domain experience in Asset & Wealth Management. Show a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Be adaptable to changing project requirements. Possess a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of product testing. Core Banking Retail Banking Investment Banking Wealth Management Securities Trading Clearing & Settlement. Brokerage Advisory Portfolio Management Corporate Actions Asset Servicing Fees and TAX Experience of working on Interface Testing. Temenos T24 Wealth Management , CRM and Order Management. Good knowledge on Oracle SQL. Basic Unix Commands ( good to have) Good Knowledge in Software Testing life Cycle and Defect life cycle. Experience with Functional testing Integration Testing (Manual & Automation) Work Experience in T24 Applications Securities Corporate Actions Events Documenting testing results and Test Progress Proficiency in various testing tools like Jira HP QC etc. Validating the bugs fixes and perform System Integration Testing and Regression Testing
