Business Justification
The OT Engineer OT Security is required to support GSK's OT Security BAU team with the ongoing execution of operational cybersecurity changes across the manufacturing environment. With multiple global manufacturing sites operating under strict GMP, GxP and cybersecurity compliance requirements, there is a continued need for technical support to assess and adjust existing OT architecture, prepare firewall related changes, and ensure these changes are governed, documented and implemented in a controlled manner. The current team is operating at capacity. Without additional support there is a risk of delays in progressing required architecture updates, firewall changes, governance approvals and associated documentation updates.
The requested resource will provide essential support in driving these BAU activities forward in close coordination with relevant stakeholders, including the GPT Firewall team. Specifically, the resource will:
- Assess and adjust existing OT security architecture where required to support operational and security needs.
- Draft firewall change requests and supporting technical documentation for review and approval.
- Present and defend proposed changes at the CAB governance board.
- Oversee technical implementation of approved firewall changes by the GPT Firewall team.
- Ensure that all impacted documentation is updated and maintained in line with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
- Support alignment with GSK's cybersecurity framework and regulatory requirements, including GxP and CFR Part 11.
By onboarding this resource, the OT Security BAU team will reduce workload pressure while maintaining regulatory compliance, technical governance and timely execution of operational cybersecurity changes across multiple GSK manufacturing locations.
