Role will be part of our Quality Engineering & Assurance (QE&A) Practice. With more than 650 clients across industry verticals and a global footprint, Cognizant QE&A practice is a recognized thought leader in quality engineering and assurance. As enterprises simplify, modernize and secure their legacy environments for the digital era, robust quality engineering and assurance is essential. Quality takes an end-to-end connotation and must straddle both legacy and digital systems. Cognizant QE&A is reimagining QE&A, employing an end-to-end ecosystem approach with intelligent and automated QA processes. In so doing, increasing quality and speed to promote faster business and technology change, as well as a better customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for large-scale programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business teams, development teams, and project managers, to define test strategies and plans.
- Drive test execution, defect management, and reporting across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC and STLC processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to testing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with automation teams to identify opportunities for test automation and integrate automation into overall test strategy.
- Prepare and present test progress reports, metrics, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.
- Good experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in a Test Lead role.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Proven experience in complex, large-scale programs, preferably in the banking domain.
- Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC and QA best practices.
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of test automation tools and frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively across distributed teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking.
- Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts.
- Having worked in Oracle application.
