As a Functional/Database tester, associate is expected to attend daily scrum calls, understand the requirement and plan and execute the different testing activities for upcoming work.
Role demands good communication and daily interaction with project and other teams/stake holders to support product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and contribute to Test Strategy and Test planning
- Perform functional and database testing, including test case preparation, execution, and sign-off for new features and change requests.
- Document maintenance in client provided tool (for e. g. In JIRA - saving: Test plan, Test cases, Bug reporting, Report etc)
- Test management and Defect management
- Producing daily / weekly / management status reports
- Test summary preparation
- Develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium and maintain regression automation packs.
- Supporting SIT team
- Supporting Go Live
- Strong understanding of test management practices.
- Good knowledge of functional and database testing concepts.
- Good BFS domain knowledge
- Basic understanding of automation tools (Playwright/Selenium, Java/C#) is beneficial
