Cognizant requires a Solutions Executive to identify, solution and close Cognizant’s Security opportunities by leveraging Cognizant Security portfolio of advisory, design and implement and operational services. This leader will manage all security opportunities within our Financial Services vertical for our strategic Platinum accounts.
The successful candidate will have a track record of selling complex security solutions within a heavily matrixed environment as well as experience with selling the overall value proposition to internal sales teams that will create opportunity with the stakeholder of the assigned accounts. Successful business development experience with selling advisory, implementations and managed services within a competitive landscape. He / She should have the ability to have security program and technology level conversations with CISO and security stakeholders, and the ability to position Cognizant’s security services and partner solutions to meet client requirements. He / She will function as the solutions partner of the sales leader for the respective vertical, enabling the growth and farming of accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, the leader will be
- Responsible for business growth and pipeline generation in partnership with the sales leader
- Responsible for sales enablement within sales account teams.
- Lead Cybersecurity sales opportunities, especially prime cybersecurity teams, create winning strategies and build solution and pricing construct including commercial / pricing construct such as, POD based delivery, as-a service, RU based pricing, outsourcing including people takeover etc.
- Establish credible relationship with CISOs and Cybersecurity leaders of customer organization
- Thought leadership among Cybersecurity community and strengthen market outreach
- Partners with account teams to identify, solution and close opportunities within the account base
- Responsible for Training and Educating Vertical and other Horizontal Sales team on Cognizant Security Portfolio
- Responsible for driving solutions for managed services opportunities collaborating with offshore based teams
- Responsible for articulating the security solution and value proposition to client stakeholders, as part of large managed services / IT outsourcing engagements
- Responsible for engaging in proactive conversations with security stakeholders on current trends, client’s landscape and enable solutions to address security challenges.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience and a strong Information Security Technology Background
- Prior solution presales and client management, large opportunities management experience for at least 5 years
- Understanding of Cybersecurity tech OEM ecosystem, portfolio and their pricing model
- Security Consulting, Security Professional Services and Managed Services solution experience for 10+ years
- Ability to partner with additional stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Strong knowledge of a complete security services portfolio: Identity and Access Management, Threat Management, Risk Services, Security Operation Centers, Governance Risk and Compliance
- Good working experience with market leading security technologies with in SIEM, Network and Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management etc.
- Strong articulation skills and the ability to articulate technology solution value proposition to business stakeholders
- Experience with developing Trusted Advisor relationships at the C Level with in F200 & F500 Accounts
- Strong communication skills within a complex client relationship model
- Works collaboratively with other Cognizant practices and geographic regions to ensure that Cognizant continues to operate effectively as one firm.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, security certifications such as CISA or CISM or CISSP preferred
