We are seeking an experienced Exchange Administrator/Engineer to manage and support Exchange Server environments (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, and Exchange Online). The role involves handling migrations, mail flow, compliance, retention, and providing enterprise-level support for M365/Exchange environments.
Candidate should be SC cleared or SC Eligible.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange environments (On-Premises and Online).
- Perform mailbox management, reporting, and troubleshooting of mail flow issues.
- Configure and manage Exchange Online Protection (EOP), Active Directory, and Azure Entra ID.
- Oversee archiving, compliance, and retention policies (MRM, eDiscovery, DLP, retention checks).
- Provide enterprise-level Tier 3 technical support for Exchange and M365 environments.
- Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell / MS Graph) for automation of mailbox and compliance tasks.
- Manage migrations, hybrid configurations, and coexistence between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and compliance teams to validate access requirements and reporting needs.
- Ensure system availability, security, and adherence to company standards.
Required Skills
- Strong hands‑on experience in Exchange Server Administration (2010/2013/2016/2019/Exchange Online).
- Proficiency in M365 services, including Exchange Online, Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), and Active Directory.
- Experience with mail flow, archiving, retention policies (MRM), and eDiscovery tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mailbox access, compliance issues, and retention/archival errors.
- Experience with developing and managing PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements in Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
