About the role

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will make an impact by owning and expanding strategic accounts within the UK Central Government space, driving revenue growth and delivering high-value digital transformation solutions. You will work collaboratively with delivery leaders, consulting teams, and client stakeholders to maximise account performance and client satisfaction.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Central Government accounts, with full responsibility for commercial performance
  • Identify, shape, and close new business and expansion opportunities within existing client engagements
  • Lead account strategy, including revenue growth, margin optimisation, and long-term planning
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver a positive client experience

Work model

This is a hybrid position requiring time each week in a client or Cognizant office in the United Kingdom. We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible and support a healthy work-life balance through wellbeing programmes.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Experience managing and expanding Central Government or Public Sector accounts
  • Understanding of UK Public Sector procurement frameworks such as DOS and G-Cloud
  • Experience in a quota-bearing sales or account leadership role with consistent target achievement
  • Track record selling technology and consulting services (Data & AI, Cloud, Digital Engineering, etc.)
  • Experience negotiating and closing large, complex deals
