About the role

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will act as a commercial leader and account owner for strategic Advertising, Media and Entertainment clients, driving growth, shaping transformation agendas, and delivering measurable business outcomes. You will operate at the intersection of client strategy, technology, and delivery—engaging senior stakeholders to understand business priorities, identify opportunities, and bring forward differentiated solutions across Cognizant’s portfolio. This role goes beyond account management—it requires a strong point of view on industry trends, the ability to challenge and influence at C‑suite level, and the commercial acumen to grow complex accounts.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and manage client accounts end-to-end, with responsibility for P&L, revenue growth, and margin performance.
  • Build and maintain trusted, senior‑level relationships across Media & Entertainment organisations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client strategies, challenges, and operating environments, translating these into proactive growth opportunities.
  • Lead and shape RFPs, renewals, and expansion opportunities, driving complex deal cycles.
  • Bring market insight and industry‑led thinking to clients, positioning relevant solutions across digital, data, and technology transformation.
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to optimise backlog, resource mix, and delivery quality.
  • Act as the primary escalation point and ensure a consistently strong client experience.

Work model

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. This role requires regular time in client and Cognizant offices within the UK, alongside flexible working arrangements to support work‑life balance.

What you need to have to be considered:

  • Strong experience in client‑facing roles within consulting or IT services, ideally within Media & Entertainment, Advertising, or adjacent sectors.
  • Proven track record of owning and growing multi‑million‑pound accounts, including P&L management.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development, including leading and closing complex deals.
  • Ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders (including C‑suite) and influence strategic direction.
  • Strong commercial mindset combined with hands‑on account leadership capability.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong problem‑solving capability with the ability to develop enterprise‑level solutions.

These will help you stand out:

  • Deep understanding of Media & Entertainment industry trends (e.g. content monetisation, digital platforms, data‑driven marketing).
  • Experience working within global delivery models (onshore/offshore).
  • Ability to translate industry trends into tangible client value propositions.
  • Experience navigating complex organisational structures and stakeholder landscapes.
  • Track record of building long‑term, strategic client partnerships.

We’re excited to meet people who share our ambition and can make an impact in a variety of ways. Don’t hesitate to apply, even if you don’t meet every requirement—transferable skills and diverse experiences are highly valued.
