We are looking for an accomplished Azure Tech Lead with Senior experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate significant expertise in Microsoft Azure services, Web API, Azure App Service, .NET Core, and Visual Studio. Operating within a hybrid work model, this role requires designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance technology solutions, with a focus on driving innovation in the devices, finance, and accounting sectors. London based Hybrid role with 2/3 times per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable technology solutions using Web API, Azure App Service, and .NET Core to satisfy business requirements and enhance operational efficiency. Define architectural patterns for microservices and API management.
  • Azure API Development: Develop and maintain APIs using Azure API Management, Web API, and .NET Core to enable secure and efficient integrations. Ensure API performance, security, and compliance with best practices.
  • Development & Integration: Oversee application development and deployment, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with existing systems seamlessly.
  • Leadership & Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Lead knowledge sharing and training sessions to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Performance & Optimization: Monitor and optimize application and API performance using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools to improve development processes and product quality. Drive innovation by exploring new Azure solutions and methodologies.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all technology implementations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain thorough documentation for architecture designs, processes, and procedures.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback for continuous improvement of technology solutions and services. Contribute to strategic goals by delivering solutions that support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including App Service, API Management, Functions, and Storage
  • Strong knowledge of Web API, .NET Core, C#, and Visual Studio
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform)
  • Familiarity with API security protocols, RBAC, and cloud governance frameworks

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
