Excellent opportunity for AWS Native Security Engineer/Architect to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable security solutions using AWS services, including AWS WAF, AWS Shield Advanced, AWS Secrets Manager, Amazon Inspector, Amazon Macie, Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Detective, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS Security Hub.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for automated deployment and configuration management.
- Configure and optimize security measures, including IAM policies, network security groups, and encryption protocols.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using AWS security tools and respond to threats in real-time.
- Perform regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security services and maintain secure production environments.
- Create detailed reports on detected threats, incidents, and response actions.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and documentation for security practices and deployment processes.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored security solutions.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience in design, implementation, and maintaining scalable security solutions using AWS services, including AWS WAF, AWS Shield Advanced, AWS Secrets Manager, Amazon Inspector, Amazon Macie, Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Detective, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS Security Hub.
