This is an excellent opportunity for AWS Devops Engineer professionals to be part of leading-edge technology projects. Cognizant’s Cloud, Infrastructure & Security Services Practice provides end-to-end solutions covering architecture, design, implementation, management, and on-going support across the entire enterprise technology infrastructure. Our services include a spectrum of management, consulting, and systems integration services to help our clients maximize value in their infrastructure resources, while optimizing infrastructure performance and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Automate application deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scans into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Maintain and administer DevOps toolchain components including Git, Artifactory, SonarQube, and API-based scripting solutions.
- Support SRE practices by defining and tracking SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Implement observability using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and other monitoring tools.
- Contribute to chaos testing and resilience engineering activities.
- Manage product backlogs and assist in roadmap planning for DevOps/platform improvements.
- Handle license management and maintain compliance of tools and systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and security stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Implement secure development practices based on SSDLC guidelines.
- Manage secrets, credentials, and secure configurations across environments.
- Support dependency scanning and security compliance aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and related standards.
- Own and manage developer onboarding, ensuring the setup of required tools and environments.
- Facilitate team feedback sessions and contribute to usability testing for internal platforms and tools.
- Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency in Git, Artifactory, SonarQube, and API scripting.
- Experience in system administration and automation.
- Experience with developer onboarding, usability testing, and facilitation.
- Monitoring and alerting experience with CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Backlog management, roadmap planning, and stakeholder alignment.
- SSDLC, secrets management, dependency scanning, and compliance standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2.
Preferred Skills
