Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reverse Engineering on Android application Packages (APKs)
- Malware analysis with swift detection techniques of analyzing malicious binaries
- Static and dynamic analysis of malicious binaries
- Application security standards including OWASP TOP 10, OWASP Enterprise Security API (ESAPI) framework, SANS TOP 25, WASC etc.
- Conducting Malware analysis & reverse engineering on APKs
- Reverse Engineering and code-level security auditing, as well as experience handling obfuscated code
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Android (OS and apps), Java
- Identify mobile threats and classify them
- Experience of Reverse Engineering on Android application Packages (APKs)
- Malware analysis experience with swift detection techniques of analyzing malicious binaries
- Good to have understanding or experience of PHA (Potentially Harmful applications) classification on android platform
- Relevant work experience including experience in Reverse Engineering and code-level security auditing, as well as experience handling obfuscated code
- Experience in analyzing malicious APKs
- Experience with static and dynamic analysis of malicious binaries
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- General ability to solve complicated problems
- Strong exposure to popular application security standards including OWASP TOP 10, OWASP Enterprise Security API (ESAPI) framework, SANS TOP 25, WASC etc.
- Good exposure in conducting Malware analysis & reverse engineering on APKs
- Experience on tools such as IDA Pro or OllyDbg
- Experience on Reverse Engineering tools around APKs (preferable)
