We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS. You will play a key role in driving DevOps best practices, ensuring efficient deployment pipelines, and optimising cloud infrastructure to support business growth.
Location: London (2-3 days per week on-site)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform DevOps services on scalable cloud architectures using AWS services to meet business requirements.
- Oversee deployment and management of AWS resources, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to teams in effectively utilising AWS services.
- Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools.
- Ensure data security and compliance through implementation of AWS security best practices and governance.
- Analyse and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents related to AWS services and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning to support system scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes and system performance.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers on AWS technologies and DevOps best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Proven experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
- Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
