At Cognivate, we believe the "right person" is more important than a specific office location. We are looking for a visionary Lead Neuropsychologist to join our core interdisciplinary team. While we are strategically expanding our reach across the Midlands, we care most about finding a clinician who is passionate about delivering life-changing, community-based neurorehabilitation. Therefore, you do not need to be based in Birmingham, but could be anywhere around Birmingham, Cambridge, Peterborough or Nottingham.
The Role
As our Lead Neuropsychologist, you won’t just be managing a caseload; you will be the clinical architect of our neuropsychology provision in the Midlands. You’ll work alongside our Clinical Director, Dr. Anita Rose, and a high-caliber team of OT, PT, and SLT leads (long term goal) to deliver integrated, goal-focused rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injury (ABI).
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Innovate: Oversee the quality of NP provision and mentor a growing network of associate therapists.
- Clinical Excellence: Deliver specialist assessments and interventions focusing on cognitive, emotional, and behavioural rehabilitation in real-world settings (home, work, and community).
- Collaborate: Work within a tight-knit interdisciplinary team.
- Specialist Support: Utilise and develop trauma-focused techniques and vocational rehabilitation strategies to help clients return to the lives they love.
Who You Are
- Qualified: HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a post-graduate qualification in Neuropsychology (QiCN or equivalent).
- Experienced: You have at least 4 years of experience in ABI and a heart for community-based, interdisciplinary work.
- Local-ish: Ideally based in or around the Midlands, with a willingness to travel within the region to meet our clients where they are.
Why Cognivate?
- Salary: competitive depending on experience (£60-80k FTE).
- Flexibility: minimum 0.4fte.
- Growth: 35 days annual leave (pro rata) and dedicated external supervision from industry leaders. All travel to and from clients fully paid. Access to our internal and external CPD networks.
