We are looking for an Infrastructure Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise network solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across core networking, firewalls, and load balancing technologies, with a strong ability to support service management and infrastructure delivery within a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve network product and infrastructure service incidents.
- Manage voice service queues within ServiceNow, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Execute technical tasks including patching, script maintenance, automation, and log review.
- Support the implementation and configuration of network devices and services.
- Prioritise tasks efficiently to address critical service demands.
- Assist in service and hardware lifecycle management, including asset tracking.
- Lead or support network migrations, including from Checkpoint to Palo Alto.
- Collaborate with the wider engineering and service teams to ensure robust change and implementation practices.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Expert knowledge of Cisco switching and routing platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto (including Panorama).
- Familiarity with Cisco ACI and Software Defined Networks (SDN).
- Knowledge of Checkpoint firewalls and Endpoint clients.
- Experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco ASA firewalls.
- Proficiency in F5 Big-IP load balancing.
- Understanding of core network routing protocols.
- Experience with Safe Agile, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and ThousandEyes.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams voice provisioning.
Desirable Skills:
- ITIL v4 Certification.
- Advanced troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience with JIRA, Ansible, and PowerShell scripting.
