A bespoke Microsoft partner specializing in Cloud and Power Platform solutions is looking for a Junior Azure Engineer/Consultant with experience on implementation and delivery projects, rather than pure support roles. This role is for someone who has worked on deploying, configuring, and building Azure solutions—whether through client projects, internal implementations, or structured project work—and wants to grow their skills in a consulting-style environment. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers delivering real-world Microsoft solutions, with exposure across Azure infrastructure, identity, DevOps, and Power Platform.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in the design, build, and implementation of Azure solutions for client projects.
  • Deploy and configure Azure resources including networking, identity, and core platform services.
  • Support project delivery activities such as environment builds, migrations, and platform modernisation.
  • Work with Azure identity (Entra ID) and Windows Server as part of cloud implementations.
  • Contribute to automation and scripting using PowerShell and/or Bash.
  • Use Azure DevOps to support delivery work: repos, pipelines, and release processes.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on solution designs and implementation approaches.
  • Document implementations, configurations, and handover materials.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to Power Platform as part of integrated client solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience working on Azure implementation or delivery projects (commercial, internal, academic, or structured project-based experience).
  • TCP/IP, routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls and VPNs.
  • Understanding of Azure identity fundamentals (Entra ID / Azure AD concepts).
  • Windows Server fundamentals.
  • A build-and-automate mindset, with exposure to PowerShell and/or Bash.
  • An interest in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps in a delivery/project context.
  • Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a proactive “build it and own it” attitude.

Nice to Have:

  • Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104).
  • Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
  • Any experience supporting Azure deployments, migrations, or greenfield builds.
