Looking for an experienced IT Integration Manager to join a global organisation during a critical acquisition and business integration programme. This role is ideal for someone who has spent 10–15+ years in IT leadership and hands-on technical delivery, with deep experience of legacy technologies, complex system integrations, and IT carve-outs.

You'll play a key role in supporting the integration of a newly acquired business, working closely with stakeholders to assess the existing technology landscape, identify integration gaps, and deliver a successful transition into the wider IT environment. This is not a traditional project management role. We're looking for someone who has personally led complex technical integrations, understands legacy enterprise environments, and can engage confidently with highly technical teams.

The Role

  • You'll provide technical integration leadership throughout the acquisition lifecycle, from analysing inherited systems through to planning and delivering integration into the wider technology estate.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Assessing existing IT environments and identifying integration requirements, risks and gaps.
    • Leading technical workstreams during an active acquisition and business carve-out.
    • Developing and managing integration plans across infrastructure, applications, ERP platforms and data.
    • Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party partners.
    • Supporting due diligence activities and ensuring smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.
    • Driving integration governance, documentation and technical standards.
    • Identifying opportunities to simplify legacy environments while minimising operational risk.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in experienced IT professionals who have built their careers working with complex enterprise technology environments rather than solely modern cloud-first platforms. You'll ideally have:

  • Extensive experience leading IT integration or transition programmes.
  • Strong experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs or large-scale business transformations.
  • A solid understanding of legacy technologies and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience integrating ERP platforms such as JDE, D365 or SAP.
  • Knowledge of legacy Oracle environments, including historical versions and data extraction.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Windows Services and Microsoft Azure environments.
  • The ability to understand and challenge technical designs while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

The following would be advantageous:

  • Manufacturing, industrial or product-based business experience.
  • Understanding of Operational Technology (OT), PLCs or manufacturing systems.
  • Data centre migration or IT carve-out experience.
  • German language skills.
  • Experience working across European business operations, particularly Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and how they may support future integration initiatives.
  • A European passport to support regular international travel.

What's on Offer

  • Opportunity to lead a high-profile acquisition integration programme.
  • Exposure to a complex international technology landscape.
  • Potential for the role to become permanent.
  • Regular international travel with expenses covered.
  • Fast-moving interview process with an immediate start available.

If you're an experienced IT Integration Manager with a strong background in legacy technology, acquisitions and complex business integrations, we'd love to hear from you.
