We’re looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud, data, and AI solutions across a modern Microsoft technology stack. This is a senior client-facing role focused on shaping innovative, scalable, and secure solutions spanning Azure-based data platforms, analytics, AI capabilities, and low-code business applications. The position combines hands-on technical leadership with stakeholder engagement, solution governance, mentoring, and pre-sales support.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, delivery teams, and senior business stakeholders to define architecture strategies, guide implementation, and support business growth through strong technical leadership and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture and design of enterprise AI and data solutions.
  • Support pre-sales activities including technical discovery, solution shaping, workshops, and proposal responses.
  • Define scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures for cloud data and AI platforms.
  • Facilitate client workshops and engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with delivery and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality architectural and technical documentation.
  • Establish and promote architecture standards, reusable patterns, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance on cloud and hybrid infrastructure approaches for analytics and AI workloads.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Mentor technical teams and contribute to capability development.
Skills & Experience
  • Deep knowledge of the Azure data ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Power BI, and Service Bus.
  • Strong experience designing AI and machine learning solutions, including generative AI and responsible AI approaches.
  • Knowledge of modern data architecture patterns including lakehouse, data integration, ETL/ELT, MDM, and dimensional modelling.
  • Familiarity with enterprise application integration and low-code platforms.
  • Experience with software delivery lifecycle practices, DevOps, deployments, migrations, and production support.
  • Strong Agile delivery experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales engagements, technical proposals, and client presentations.
  • Background in architectural governance and delivery assurance.
