This role is for an Azure Data Analyst with an understanding of the Energy Utilities sector and hands-on experience with Smart Metering projects. We're looking for a data-driven professional who can transform complex data into clear insights and solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Gather and integrate data from Azure sources, ensuring high data quality and accessibility.
  • Design and build data models tailored to business and reporting needs.
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand objectives and deliver data-backed solutions.
  • Monitor data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to data quality and performance.

What You Bring:

  • 15+ years in IT, with significant experience in Energy Utilities and Smart Metering projects.
  • 10+ years as a Data Analyst within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Expertise in data modeling, statistical methods, and data transformation.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Solid experience with Azure services like Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Data Lake Storage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous eye for data accuracy and quality.
