Job Title: Project Officer
Salary – £30,000
Location: Hybrid (within commuting distance to Manchester)
Contract Type: Fixed Term

Cognition Education UK is seeking a Project Officer to join our programme delivery team to support our continuous professional development (CPD) offerings to the Further Education (FE) sector. The Project Officer will support all aspects of our programme delivery in accordance with agreed work plans and will have a specific focus on FE stakeholder engagement to support FE providers to participate and enroll onto our programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that robust project management processes and procedures are implemented and continuously improved.
- Ensuring the project plan is adhered to, supporting milestones and KPI achievement.
- Working with programme stakeholders to develop programme collateral for use through appropriate marketing channels.
- Acting as the main point of contact for FE providers and stakeholders who are interested in our programmes and offering advice and guidance on how we can support them.
- Building strong relationships with FE providers and other stakeholders who have not yet engaged on our programmes.
- Maintaining existing relationships with FE providers who have already engaged on our programmes to support them with the continuation of their CPD journeys.
- Traveling nationally to meet with FE providers where required to identify their needs and promote how our offerings can support them.
- Maintaining relationships to promote Cognition’s vision and values with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting the Programme Management team where appropriate.
- Completing administrative tasks as required to support programme activity.
- Performing other tasks in addition to those listed above as negotiated with your manager.

- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Experience/knowledge in an optimal mix of specialist areas as relevant for the role which could include: Project Management and Marketing experience and/or expertise, Managing Processes, Customer Service, Administration, Reporting Skills.
