We are seeking a forward-thinking and security-conscious Global IT Manager to lead our digital transformation journey. This role is pivotal in ensuring our global technology infrastructure is secure, efficient, and future-ready. You will oversee our managed service provider (MSP) relationships, drive the adoption and optimisation of Office 365, and champion innovation through AI and digital tools. You’ll also lead a small, agile team focused on transformation and development. You will play a key role in helping us stay safe, work smarter, and innovate boldly.
About the Role
This global role is responsible for managing our IT operations and infrastructure across multiple regions, with a strong focus on:
- Security and risk management, particularly through effective MSP contract oversight and governance.
- Office 365 deployment and optimisation, ensuring our workforce is empowered to use the platform to its full potential.
- Digital transformation, including involvement in strategic projects such as ERP implementation and AI-driven initiatives.
You will lead a small team including a Lead Full Stack Developer and a Transformation Officer, and work closely with our outsourced IT partners to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you will bring experience and capability in the following areas:
- Proven experience managing multi-site IT operations, including MSP contract management and performance oversight.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management, and compliance in a multi-region context.
- Deep expertise in the Office 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.), with a track record of successful deployments and user adoption strategies.
- Experience leading or contributing to digital transformation projects, including ERP implementations and cloud migrations.
- A keen interest in AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to identify and apply innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Ability to lead and mentor a small technical team, while collaborating effectively with business stakeholders and external partners.
About You
With a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, you will:
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in managing a similar service including Office 365 deployment and optimisation, MSP contract management, digital transformation projects, and information security.
- Be passionate about technology as a driver of business improvement and innovation.
- Have a strong security-first mindset, with experience managing IT risks and ensuring compliance.
- Be a confident communicator who can translate technical concepts into business value.
- Be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Be experienced in creating and implementing simple, secure, and scalable technical solutions.
- Be flexible and collaborative, with a strong service orientation and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of Zoho One desirable.
