We are looking for a Senior Medical Writer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for:
- Demonstrating an in-depth scientific knowledge of allocated accounts and using this to shape medical communications materials
- Leading on content development for increasingly complex projects and defined workstreams, with senior oversight
- Understanding the product strategy and applying strategic thinking to all work
- Taking the lead on scientific content discussions with clients and external experts on defined projects or areas of responsibility
- Being seen by the client team as a trusted source of product and therapy‑area expertise
- Collaborating with internal colleagues and departments, including Client Services, Creative, Editorial and Strategy, to ensure the seamless delivery of projects
- Contributing to new business opportunities through research and content development for pitches
With a deep interest in science and medical communications, we believe someone with the following experience could be a good match for this role:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant science (essential) or a postgraduate qualification or PhD (desirable)
- Proven experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency or similar environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
