We are looking for a visionary Power & Renewables Solutions Consultant to lead the charge in transforming how global energy companies harness data to optimize operations, improve asset performance, and accelerate the shift toward a more sustainable future. This is a high-impact leadership role where deep technical expertise meets strategic influence.

You will shape and deliver cutting-edge, data-driven solutions for some of the world’s largest power and renewables organizations—helping them unlock the full value of their industrial data through Cognite’s leading DataOps and AI platform. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, a strategic partner to our sales and product teams, and a key voice in shaping the future of Cognite’s solutions in the energy sector.

The Impact you bring to Cognite:

  • Lead Strategic Solution Design: Define and drive innovative, scalable solution architectures for global power and renewable energy customers.
  • Partner with Executive Stakeholders: Engage directly with C-level executives and senior technical leaders across global energy organisations.
  • Architect High-Impact Solutions: Provide end-to-end architectural leadership across pre-sales and solution design engagements.
  • Turn Customer Insight into Global Impact: Identify patterns and recurring challenges across customer engagements.
  • Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) Success: Guide customers through technical evaluations and PoC engagements.
  • Influence Product & Platform Evolution: Work closely with product and engineering teams to shape future capabilities.
  • Build Strategic Ecosystems: Develop strong relationships with industry partners, technology vendors, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Represent Cognite as a Thought Leader: Act as a visible industry voice at conferences, forums, and customer advisory boards.

What you will bring:

  • Extensive experience in technical leadership roles within pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting in the power & renewables sector.
  • Deep expertise in industrial data solutions, including asset performance, predictive maintenance, and operational optimisation.
  • Strong understanding of DataOps, AI/ML, and data analytics in industrial or energy contexts.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executive audiences.
  • Experience influencing product direction and collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.
  • A track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and customers.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Renewable Energy) or equivalent practical experience.
