About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Dance Assistant to help deliver engaging and inclusive Dance lessons for pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2. You will assist with monitoring progress, providing encouragement and feedback, and leading rehearsal groups to build pupils' confidence and performance skills. The role also includes supporting school productions, performances and festivals through rehearsal, backstage and logistical assistance. You will be a confident team player with strong dance skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to supporting pupils' learning and development. Reliable, organised, and adaptable, you will be comfortable leading small groups, assisting with rehearsals and performances, and working collaboratively with colleagues. Above all, you will have a warm and encouraging manner, a commitment to helping young people build confidence, and a genuine passion for inspiring a love of Dance.
