About the Role: As a Sports Coach, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality physical education, sport, and active play for pupils aged 3‑11, from Nursery through to Year 6. Working under the guidance of the Head of Sports and alongside teaching and support staff, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and inclusive PE lessons, curriculum sessions, and after‑school clubs. You will help pupils develop fundamental movement skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity. The role also forms an important part of the After School Club provision, supporting safe, creative, and stimulating play opportunities. You will ensure activities are delivered safely, contribute to sports events, and support pupils’ physical, social, and emotional development both in lessons and beyond the curriculum.

Role Details: This is a permanent, full‑time role – 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (term time plus inset), with two weekly after‑school clubs (until 5:00pm).

What We Are Looking For: You are passionate about sport, physical activity, and working with children. You have experience supporting or coaching children aged 3‑11 and are confident delivering structured, engaging sessions across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. You are organised, energetic, and approachable, with strong communication and behaviour‑management skills. You work well both independently and as part of a team, are committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, and bring a positive, proactive attitude to professional development and continuous learning.
