About the Role: This role involves teaching PE and Games to pupils in Years 2 to 13, with a specialism in netball, alongside a significant commitment to the school’s co‑curricular programme and duties as a Form Tutor for KS3/4. As the school continues to grow, the position is expected to offer considerable opportunities for professional development, and ECTs are encouraged to apply. The responsibilities outlined are in addition to those set out in the latest Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document, and the job description may be amended by the Headteacher, in agreement with the post holder, to reflect or anticipate changes in the role commensurate with the salary and job title. This is a permanent, full‑time role with an anticipated start date in September 2026.
Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for a well‑qualified candidate with a good honours degree who is an outstanding, qualified PE and Games teacher with a genuine passion for the subject. The successful applicant will be a keen, self‑motivated practitioner committed to working as part of a successful department, with an awareness of and willingness to support the school’s all‑round ethos. They will possess excellent communication skills (oral, written, and ICT), along with strong organisational and administrative abilities, and be able to teach PE and Games across Years 2–13, with particular expertise in netball. The role requires energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to go the extra mile, alongside a cheerful, professional manner, a good sense of humour, and the ability to deliver engaging, hands‑on teaching.
