About the Role
We are seeking an outstanding Drama Teacher to join our vibrant school community. As a KS2 & KS3 Drama Teacher, you will inspire creativity and confidence in pupils across Years 3–8. You will teach engaging Drama lessons and take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class as part of your timetable. Your work will include planning and delivering high-quality lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils’ personal development. Beyond the classroom, you will contribute to school productions, run Drama clubs, and collaborate with colleagues to create memorable experiences for our students. This is a Maternity Cover position needed from February 2026 to February 2027 on a part-time basis (0.6FTE).
Who We Are Looking For
You are an enthusiastic and skilled Drama specialist with a passion for performance and education. You bring strong subject knowledge, creativity, and the ability to engage pupils of all abilities. You have Qualified Teacher Status and experience teaching Drama at KS2 and/or KS3. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is a commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
