About Cognita

Cognita is a global leader in independent education. Founded in 2004, we are a growing community of 100+ schools in 21 countries - in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East - serving more than 100,000 students. Each of our schools are proudly unique, however our collective purpose is to create an environment where everyone can, "Thrive in a rapidly evolving world".

About the Role

Acting as the first point of contact for prospective families, you will deliver a warm, authentic and hospitality‑driven enquiry experience that builds immediate trust and drives the conversion of high‑quality leads to in‑school Admissions Managers. You will manage all initial enquiries across web, email and phone for Alleyn’s and North Bridge House schools, confidently asking open questions to capture key information about each child’s needs and interests, and converting interest into ‘hot leads’ by booking school visits and sending pre‑event communications. You will proactively follow up on all enquiries in line with service standards, nurturing relationships through regular communications such as newsletters and event invitations while closing off inactive leads. Working closely with Admissions Managers, you will build strong school relationships, support key conversion events including Open Mornings, assessments and inductions, and ensure seamless collaboration. Alongside this, you will take ownership of CRM management, maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records, tracking leads in real time, contributing to performance reporting, and providing regular insights to stakeholders to support continuous improvement.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a warm, personable and motivated individual who is energised by working with people and delivering a high standard of customer service. You will bring experience from hospitality, education or a similarly service‑led environment, with a proven ability to handle enquiries confidently and professionally, ideally within a high‑value or luxury sales setting. A natural communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, you will be able to build rapport quickly, listen carefully to understand individual needs, and guide families through their journey with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. You will be highly organised, able to manage multiple leads within set timelines while maintaining attention to detail, and comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft applications to support your work. A collaborative team player, you will thrive on building strong relationships across schools, and bring a proactive, positive approach alongside the commercial awareness and soft sales skills needed to convert interest into engagement without a hard sales approach.
