About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Senior Leadership Team as Wrap Manager and Head of Sports. This role is pivotal in delivering high‑quality wraparound and holiday provision, ensuring pupils benefit from engaging, educational experiences outside school hours. You will shape and manage a dynamic programme tailored to pupils and families, oversee staff, enrichment activities, and day‑to‑day operations, and drive excellence in the teaching of PE and sport. As Head of Sports, you will foster confidence, resilience, teamwork, and physical literacy across all age groups, supporting the school’s vision of broad, inclusive, and inspiring enrichment, sport, and wellbeing for every child. The position is permanent, full‑time, starting 1 September 2026.

Who We Are Looking For

You will be a passionate and driven professional with a strong background in teaching PE and delivering engaging sports and enrichment programmes to a range of age groups. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) and a degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field, with experience working with children in educational or childcare settings. Leadership, organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to inspire and motivate both pupils and staff while managing multiple priorities effectively. You will collaborate with colleagues, parents and external partners, maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and uphold high standards of behaviour management. You will create inclusive, high‑quality provision that supports all pupils to thrive, demonstrating resilience, professionalism, and a commitment to equality, diversity and the wellbeing of every child.
