This pioneering collaboration brings together Cognita, educating over 100,000 students across 21 countries, and Alleyn’s, south London’s finest co‑educational day school and Co‑educational School of the Year 2025. North Bridge House Regent’s Park Prep and North Bridge House Hampstead are becoming Alleyn’s schools. Regent’s Park transitioned this September, welcoming pupils aged 3–11. Hampstead will follow in September 2026, offering education for pupils aged 2–18.
About the Role
As a Teacher of Geography at Alleyn’s Hampstead Senior, you will teach Geography across the 11–18 age range, delivering engaging, challenging, and inspiring lessons that deepen students’ understanding of physical and human processes shaping our world. You will plan and deliver well‑structured lessons across KS3, GCSE and A Level, using adaptive teaching and technology to support and stretch learners of all abilities. Working collaboratively within the Geography Department, you will contribute to curriculum development, assessment and enrichment, including fieldwork, visits and themed activities. As a Form Tutor, you will provide pastoral care and guidance, supporting students’ personal development and wellbeing. You will play an active role in the wider life of the school through co‑curricular activities and trips, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safeguarding.
Who We Are Looking For
You are an enthusiastic Geography specialist with strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for inspiring young people. You hold a relevant degree and a PGCE (or equivalent), with experience teaching Geography at secondary level; experience at GCSE or A Level is desirable. You communicate clearly, manage classrooms confidently, and use assessment effectively to maximise progress. Collaborative, reflective and committed to continuous professional development, you enjoy contributing beyond the classroom and embrace the values, culture and community of Alleyn’s and Cognita.
