About the Role
As Teacher of PE, you will play a key part in delivering an inspiring and inclusive PE curriculum across the Preparatory, GCSE, and A Level programmes. You will teach both practical and academic PE, helping students develop the skills, confidence, and motivation to enjoy sport and physical activity for life. Alongside delivering high-quality lessons, you will coach and lead teams, organise fixtures, and foster a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal excellence. Working collaboratively within a committed PE department, you will also contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting character education and whole‑school initiatives that promote wellbeing and achievement. This is a permanent, full‑time role with a proposed January 2026 start date.
Who We Are Looking For
You are an enthusiastic, well‑qualified, and motivated PE teacher with strong subject knowledge and a passion for girls’ sport. You will bring creativity and energy to your teaching, setting high expectations for both behaviour and performance. With the ability to build positive and supportive relationships, you will inspire students of all abilities to achieve their potential. You should have experience teaching academic PE at KS4 or KS5 and coaching at least one major girls’ sport, such as hockey, football, or cricket. A collaborative approach, professional integrity, and a genuine commitment to holistic education are essential.
