About the role: This role sits within Cognita’s central HR team, supporting both the European and USA region, with an initial focus on the USA. You will need to be flexible and be able to work some US hours to attend meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for academic, operational, and specialist roles.
  • Lead role briefings and provide guidance and market insight to hiring managers.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders to understand current and future hiring needs.
  • Coordinate offers and onboarding in partnership with Reward and HR Operations.
  • Produce vacancy insights, recruitment reports, and analytics.
  • Represent Cognita externally, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.

The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to the London Head Office as required.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented individual with proven recruitment experience, ideally gained in a fast‑paced environment. You will have experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and managing candidate data, along with strong numerical and analytical skills to support recruitment reporting. You will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is essential, as is the ability to manage a high‑volume workload and meet tight deadlines. A high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism is crucial.
