About the School: Alleyn's Regent's Park is a leading independent day school in north London, consistently placed within the top London schools for academic achievement. The school currently educates children aged 4 to 13 and prepares pupils for 11+ and 13+ entry. It will introduce a new Pre–Reception class from September 2026, becoming a 3‐11 school.
The school has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pre‐Reception Teacher to join our fantastic team. This is a permanent, full‐time position with a start date in September 2026.
About the Role: As a Pre‐Reception Teacher at Alleyn's Regent's Park, you will lead your class with warmth, expertise and creativity, taking primary responsibility for children's wellbeing, development and early learning. You will plan and deliver engaging, purposeful lessons that reflect the EYFS curriculum and bring our ROCCK values, Respect, Opportunity, Curiosity, Courage and Kindness, to life every day. You will create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn.
Who We Are Looking For: You will hold a PGCE with QTS specialising in EYFS, and bring a strong understanding of child development and early learning. You are an enthusiastic, reflective practitioner who enjoys working with young children and is committed to exceptional pastoral care. You communicate confidently with parents, collaborate generously with colleagues and demonstrate strong organisational skills. A paediatric first‐aid qualification, Forest School experience or additional EYFS training are desirable, but a passion for early years education is essential.
